So I’ve decided that I’m going to actually give this blog thing a shot. Mostly because today was a good day, and I’d like to remember it.
I woke up very early (unintentional, I assure you) this morning, and as a result got my morning coffee/Facebook routine out of the way very early, freeing up a lot of time to work on Luc’s book. Yes – my brother Lucas has penned a tome, and I’m attempting to edit it. I’ve never edited anything before in an official capacity, so it’s mostly just proofreading, but there are later editions for improvements, right? Anyways, I got a ton of that finished thanks to the awesome aural stylings of Garbage, How to Destroy Angels, and Mumford & Sons, among others.
The fantastic part of today was that I was able to walk the full loop around my block, which involves a rather steep hill. Not only did I make the loop, I actually didn’t overextend myself! It’s so easy to rejoice when I have energy and try to make the most of it, but it invariably comes back to bite me in the ass. Even today with my nonoverextendedness, I was totally wiped out for the afternoon, and had trouble getting up from my stretches. However, I’m very confident that I’ll be okay for tomorrow!
Tomorrow I’m hoping to do some warm-water aerobics, which one of my doctors has recommended to help with the pain. We’ll see how that goes, I wait with bated breath!
Also, crucially, the Boston Bruins beat the Philly Flyers 5-1. That helped.
